The Asia-Pacific International Molecular Biology Network brings together the leading minds and institutions in the region to work towards ensuring that the economies in the Asia and the Pacific Rim will find themselves always at the cutting edge of new developments in biotechnology, and not as by-standers.

Objectives

  • To promote study, research innovation, development and dissemination of knowledge in molecular biology and genetic engineering and directly related areas of science and technology.
  • Undertake, in collaboration with relevant national and international institutions, facilities and training programs aimed at strengthening expertise and capacity for the conduct of work in the areas of the IMBN’s interest and focus.
  • To help co-ordinate the conduct of research and development activities in laboratories designed by supporting institutions as Asia Pacific International Molecular Biology Laboratories.
  • To co-operate with industry to identify areas of common interest for promoting the work of scientists and institutions working with IMBN

 

 

Member State (since July 2013) of

Asia-Pacific International   Molecular Biology Network (A-IMBN)

  

 

As an example of cooperating with that organization one acceptance of Ph.D fellowship of South Korea, can be mentioned.
