"NIGEB Researcher wins ISESCO Prize for Biology"
It is a pleasure to inform that Dr. Masoud Houshmand,
Assistant Professor of the National Institute of Genetic
Engineering and Biotechnology (Medical Biotechnology Institute)
has won the 2014 prize for “biology” from Islamic Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). The ISESCO prizes are awarded
to outstanding researchers and pioneering scientists for their great
contribution to their innovation in science and technology. The Science
prize consists of a certificate, a gold medal, and a cash award of US$ 5000
which will be awarded during a ceremony at the inauguration of the “7th
Islamic conference of ministers of higher education and scientific research”
on December 18-19 2014 in Rabat, the kingdom of Morocco.
